The Royal Arc

''The Royal Arc" is another in my small works series, 8" x 10" oil on canvas.

The Royal Terns fascinate me. Their genus name comes from the Ancient Greek Thalasseus, meaning "Fisherman" you no doubt have watched them as I have do a speeding chevron dive to catch fish just off the coast.

Love these happy flowers-well, I don't know if they are happy, healthy yes but truth is I feel happy when I see one or a field following the arc of the golden light of the sun. The title is from Lennon and McCartney tune of the same name.
