Hi everybody. This is my watercolor 22" x 36" on Moulin Du Roy cold press 300lb watercolor paper. It is the first in a series of watercolor paintings for a children's book I have written about a little girl and her adventures living by the coast.
I like the composition and the tones very much in this painting as well as a slight view from above. It also captures a very Floridian ambient soft sunlight. The upper right area of blue was left open to be able to accommodate a block of type.
