Ride like the wind
I probably saw my first polo match when I was 8 years old. It was at the Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton Massachusetts. Have you been to a match? Fantastic isn't it?
Grace, power, speed, strength and skill in action make it a thrilling way to spend
a few hours on a Sunday afternoon.
As an artist there is color, figures, depth, landscape, beautiful horses and people a sense of excitement in an almost festival atmosphere, not to mention delicious picnic goodies that people bring to the spectator grounds, fun, fun, fun. It's even more fun to make the art of polo into the art of the artist!
This one was at The International Polo Club Palm Beach, Florida USA. It is from a series of 6 the other five are scenes from The Greenwich Polo Club in Connecticut, USA.
