Welcome.

The sea oat is one of mankind's best friends and an invaluable ally in protecting the shoreline from erosion and to that end the enjoyment of all manner of wildlife and beach combers alike.

Salt tolerant, sun tolerant and drought tolerant and to top it off it is a beautiful shape, design and seeing them in the clusters flowing in the salty sea breezes of the coast creates an immediate sense of well being.

This is another from my photo art series. I like the tonality of this piece. I also enjoy seeing forms changed in shadow flowing over shaped surfaces.

Thank you for stopping by today.

If you have not been to see my oil paintings you are welcome to visit www.alanphillipstudio.com and have a look around. Feel free to make comment in the space provided or sign up for my free newsletter full of fun art related topics including my new releases, shows and exhibitions.

More to come....
